What you Need:
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
1 (12-ounce) package bacon, preferably center-cut, halved lengthwise
1 teaspoon olive oil
Garlic salt, for serving
Black pepper, for serving
How to make them:
Preheat the oven to 350˚F. Wrap a bacon strip around each asparagus spear like a pinwheel, then set on a baking sheet. Roast for 15 minutes, flipping asparagus halfway through, then broil the bacon to crisp the bacon, a few minutes more. Arrange bacon-wrapped asparagus on a platter, and season with garlic salt and pepper.
If your spears are really thin and young, use 2-3 in bundles then wrap with the bacon.
