Chinese Chicken Fried Rice


I love My Wok, it's just awesome for cooking Oriental Foods, if you don't have a wok you can use a large skillet though but I advise investing in one if you like Oriental Foods.
Fried Rice is always a favorite Chinese Dish with most people and it is pretty easy to make at home

Serves 2-3 People but you could always double this recipe!
What you Need::
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
1 Cup diced carrots
2 cups cooked white rice, cold
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup diced chicken meat

How to Cook:
In a saucepan, combine rice and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
In a small saucepan, boil carrots in water about 3 to 5 minutes. Drop peas into boiling water, and drain.
Heat wok over high heat. Pour in oil, Toss in onions and cook a couple minutes till just tender, then add chicken and cook about 10-15 minutes on a high heat till done, then stir in carrots and peas; cook about 30 seconds. Crack in eggs, stirring quickly to scramble eggs with vegetables, just till cooked through a few minutes more. Stir in cooked rice. Shake in soy sauce, and toss rice to coat. Drizzle with sesame oil, and toss again. Enjoy Good Food
