Homemade Refrigerator Pickles

Did you grow a garden? Or Find a sale on Cucumbers at the store, now is the time to make Pickles
Fast and easy Refrigerator Pickles are good and you can have them ready to eat in just a couple days, they store in your fridge for weeks too. No hot water bath canning needed if you are making just a jar or two.

This will make a jar or 2
1  sliced cucumber
1 cup water
1 cup apple cider or  white wine vinegar(can use wine vinegars too)
1/3 cup cane sugar
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1/2 to 1 Tbsp Salt
1 Tbsp Pickle Spices
You can add garlic and Red Peppers if you like these spicy

Place cucumber slices in a clean heat-resistant container with airtight lid (approximately 3 to 4 cups capacity)
Put Vinegar, sugar, and spices in a stainless steel pot (NOT Aluminum) bring to boil, turn heat down stirring to dissolve sugar and simmer spices about 5 minutes, remove from heat to cool, (IMPORTANT) let this cool so not to keep your cucumbers crisp
Once the liquid is cool pour over cucumbers in your jars
 ~Refrigerate! Let them marinate for a couple days before eating for best flavor.~~Enjoy!!
