Hearty Potato Corn Chowder

A hearty Corn Chowder soup that warms the insides and fills the belly when you're starving
add some warm bread and a delicious dessert and you will taste a little heaven.

what you need:
1/2 cup diced bacon
1 whole garlic, peeled and diced
4-5 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups water
1 can or small bag of frozen corn
2 teaspoons salt
ground black pepper to taste
1 tsp savory
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups milk stir up with 4 tsp corn starch to thicken chowder

1.Place the bacon in a large pot over medium-high heat, and cook until crisp. Drain and crumble, reserving about 2 tablespoons drippings in the pot, add garlic and cook till golden
2.Mix potatoes and onion into the pot with the crumbled bacon and reserved drippings. Pour in the water, and bring to boil, cook about 5 minutes, then add corn. Season with salt and pepper and other seasonings you like. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and cover pot. Simmer 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until potatoes are tender.
3.Add milk with corn starch and stir, reduce heat and continue to cook till hot. 
Remove from heat before it boils(do not let boil),
Top the chowder with shredded cheese just before serving.
