Cream of Corn Soup

I am on a soup Kick, it just makes me warm all over. These soups are really easy to make, they don't take a lot of ingredients and they save you money also they aren't full of the crap that canned soups have or the salt.

What you Need:
4 cups hot milk
1 slice onion
1 can kernel corn
2 cups water
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper

What you Need to do:
Heat the milk and onion then remove onion. Chop the corn or rub
through a sieve, and cook it with the water 20 minutes. Melt the butter, add
the flour, and when bubbling, add 1st 2/3 cup, then the rest of the milk
gradually. Cook till slightly thickened. Add the corn, salt and pepper.
Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with popcorn.
