Apple Cranberry Streusel Bread

Another Favorite recipe is this Apple Cranberry Streusel topped bread
Mix up a fruity butter for it

What You Need:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped apple pieces (you can use sweet or tart) depends on your choice
½ cup softened  butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1.5 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1/2 cup orange juice
1/3 cup cranberries, chopped
2/3 cup walnuts, chopped
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp melted butter

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease sides and bottom of a standard-sized loaf pan. In a bowl, toss 2tbsp of the 2 cups of flour with the chopped apple and set aside. In another bowl, beat together 1/2 cup of butter until fluffy. Slowly add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Combine the remaining flour with baking soda and salt, and then add to mixture alternately with orange juice. Fold in apple pieces, cranberries, and 1/3cup of the walnuts. Spread into loaf pan and even out the top.

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, 2 tbsp of flour, lemon zst, 1 tbsp melted butter, and the rest of the walnuts. This will make the yummy crunchy crumble for the top of the spread. Sprinkle over the top of the batter and bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack.
