POPCORN-Ways to Enjoy it!!

Soft Caramel for Popcorn:
1c brown sugar
1 stick butter
1c karo syrup
1 can condensed milk
Heat until mixed the pour over popcorn

Ingredients
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash cayenne pepper
6 cups plain popped popcorn
Directions
1.Place sugar, chili powder, cinnamon, salt and cayenne pepper in a zip-type plastic bag or other 2-qt. airtight container. Mix. Add popcorn. Spray popcorn with nonstick cooking spray. Close bag and shake. Repeat one or two times until popcorn is coated

Cinnamon Popcorn

"Seasoned with cinnamon, this popcorn is the perfect family snack to munch on while watching those classic Christmas movies together."
Ingredients
4 quarts popped popcorn
1 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Directions
1.Place popcorn in a large bowl. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, sugar and cinnamon. Microwave on high for 1 minute; stir. Microwave 1 minute longer or until the butter is melted. Pour over popcorn and toss to coat. Transfer to two greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pans. Bake, uncovered, at 300 degrees F for 10 minutes. Cool. Store in an airtight container

Movie Star Popcorn By: D.A. mommy  
"With all of the artificial ingredients and disregard of our health in the store-bought microwave popcorn, I've been making homemade popcorn every weekend the old-fashioned way. I like to use peanut oil due to its high smoke point, but if you have allergies, then substitute vegetable oil."
Ingredients
3 tablespoons peanut oil
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
1.Heat the oil in a 2 to 3 quart saucepan or pot with a lid set over medium-high heat. Pour in popcorn kernels and sprinkle enough salt to lightly cover the layer of kernels. Remember, you can always add more salt later. Add the butter to the pot and cover with the lid.
2.As soon as the kernels start to pop, shake the pan back and forth across the burner constantly until the popping slows down. As soon as the pops are about 2 seconds apart, remove from the heat and pour into a serving bowl. Taste, and season with additional salt if desired.


Microwave Popcorn
"Believe it or not, you can make your own delicious, low-fat microwave popcorn using standard popping corn and a brown paper lunch bag. It works perfectly."
Ingredients
1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
Directions
1.In a cup or small bowl, mix together the unpopped popcorn and oil. Pour the coated corn into a brown paper lunch sack, and sprinkle in the salt. Fold the top of the bag over twice to seal in the ingredients.
2.Cook in the microwave at full power for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, or until you hear pauses of about 2 seconds between pops. Carefully open the bag to avoid steam, and pour into a serving bowl
White Chocolate Popcorn

Extra large bowl
1 bag popped non-buttery kettle corn or plain un buttered popcorn [completely white]
1 pkg white almond bark
Pecans, Almonds, or nuts of choice!!

After popping the popcorn[ make sure NOT to burn it] pour into large bowl picking out most or all the un popped kernels. Melt 1/2 the almond bark in the microwave until able to pour. Drizzle over popcorn[ and nuts] stir and repeat until covered well. [There should be enough bark for 2 popcorn bags] Spread mix over waxed paper and let dry. You can put into cellophane gift bags or into canisters.

Pretty Pretty Princess Pink Party Popcorn

Popcorn
 Vegetable Oil or Olive Oil
 Kosher Salt
 8 ounces of good White Chocolate
 Red Food Coloring

Pop a batch of popcorn. The stove top method is best, but you could also use microwave popcorn if you must — just try to avoid the flavored kind. Either way you will need approximately 8 cups of popcorn.

Spread the popcorn over a baking sheet lined with a silpat or wax paper. Pick out any unpopped kernels — you don’t want anyone to break a tooth!

Melt 8 ounces of white chocolate until smooth. You can use a double-boiler to melt the chocolate, or put it in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time on medium power, stirring after each round. Once the chocolate is smooth, add a few drops of food coloring, and stir to blend.

Use a spoon to drizzle the melted chocolate across the popcorn. Mix the popcorn around with the spoon to evenly distribute the chocolate. Then place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden. Finally, serve and enjoy!
