Minty chocolate Dirt Cake

if you like mint and chocolate, you gotta make this

ingredients:
2 rows of mint oreo cookies, crushed--save some for topping
1 large box of vanilla pudding
green and blue food dye
8 ounces of cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbs vanilla
1/2 tbs peppermint extract
1/2 pint of heavy whipping cream

directions
1. Crush your cookies in a zip lock bag, set aside
2. Make pudding according to box and omit 1/2 cup of milk, add six drops of green food

coloring and 3 blue to get a pretty minty color
3. allow pudding to set
4. Whip cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract together, slowly

add heavy whipping cream until sturdy peaks form. (Side note: This whipped cream icing

is sturdy and will not melt if left out, so it's great for cakes and cupcakes too!)
5. in clear glass or bowls layer the cookies, pudding and whipped cream mixture 2 or 3

layers, sprinkle with cookie crumbs on top
