Heath Bar Chocolate Trifle

Heath Bar Chocolate Trifle

This is super fast and looks so fancy your family and friends will want to eat it all up.
I like to serve mine in a pretty glass bowl on a pedestal
Trifles are an easy and elegant way to impress your guests,  they are super delicious too!!

For this trifle you will need:
1 prepared (any flavor you like) box cake or a store bought pound cake cut into 1 1/2 inch slices
1 prepared box of instant chocolate pudding(or your choice of flavors, I like to use butterscotch sometimes)
1 tub of whipped topping (Cool Whip)
1 package of Heath Bar toffee bits
3 cups of heavy whipping cream plus 1 tablespoon of sugar whipped and ready to go
Smuckers Caramel Sauce

Directions:
First, layer the chocolate cake to cover the bottom of your trifle dish or any clear dish you would like to use.  When the dish is clear this will turn out so appetizing

Next, drizzle the cake with caramel  and sprinkle the Heath Bar bits over the top of the cake.
Combine the instant pudding and the whipped topping by gently folding the 2 together.  It turns out to look like a delicious, smooth chocolate mousse.

Put a layer of the choclate pudding mixture and next a layer of whipped cream. Then you are ready to start the next layer of cake.  This time you will layer the chocolate pudding mixture over the cake and then a generous amount of whipped cream.  Now it’s time to get really fancy!!  Are you ready for this?

On top of the whipped cream sprinkle a good amount of Heath Bar bits and then take your caramel and do a fancy drizzle over the top.
