Creamed Potatoes and Peas
Years ago my grandma taught me to make creamed veggies, although I know they have extra calories they are just too good to give up everyday
So as a treat I still have to have some

2 lbs. potatoes, slice
¼ cup butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1 ½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1 ½ cups milk (I use 2% milk)
1 cup water
10 oz. frozen peas (Fresh peas are the best)


Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Slice potatoes and place on greased baking pan.

Sprinkle peas over potatoes. In saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour, salt and

pepper. Add milk, stirring constantly until right consistency. Pour sauce over

vegetables. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
