Make Your Guacamole-Your Way

Here are some good recipes for Guacamole. Do you like it chunky,. or creamy?
Add the ingredients that you prefer and seasonings you like best.
Take your pick at seasonings and spices and enjoy with several chips or mexican foods

Guacamole

2 avocados, peeled and mashed
1/2 tomato, finely chopped, discard juice and seeds
1/4 onion, finely chopped
1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. mayonnaise
5-6 drops red pepper sauce
1/2 cup finely shredded lettuce

1. Combine all ingredients except lettuce.
2. Store in covered container with avocado seed in the middle.
3. Remove seed and serve on shredded lettuce.

Guacamole

3 large avocados scooped out
2 cloves minced garlic
3/4 Roma tomatoes
chopped cilantro
1 chopped jalapeno
squirt of lime/lemon juice

Mix all together. I read that you need to put a piece of plastic wrap down ON the mixture and then cover with a lid. The plastic wrap keeps the air out and it won't turn brown as quick. Good Luck.

CHIPOTLE'S Guacamole

1 large ripe avocado, peeled, pitted
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro ( i only use 2 tbsp)
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 large Serrano chilies, seeded, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt

Mash up avocado with a fork or electric mixer. Add lime juice. Add all other ingredients and blend well. Serve with tortilla chips.
